Job Qualifications
Knowledge and Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, Hospitality Management or a related field.
- Master's Degree is an advantage.
- Minimum of 8–10 years of progressive experience in Marketing and Communications, with at least 3–5 years in a leadership role within luxury hospitality.
- Proven experience in developing and implementing integrated marketing strategies that drive brand awareness and revenue growth.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing, social media, CRM, content marketing, public relations, and luxury brand positioning.
- Experience managing annual marketing budgets and agency relationships.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite (preferred), CRM systems, Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, and hotel marketing platforms.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Additional languages are an advantage.

Key Areas of Responsibility
Marketing Strategy & Brand Management
- Develops and executes the annual Marketing and Communications Strategy aligned with the hotel's business objectives.
- Oversees brand positioning and ensures all communications reflect GHM brand standards.
- Leads integrated marketing campaigns to maximize hotel awareness, guest engagement and revenue.
- Monitors market trends, competitor activities and consumer insights to identify new business opportunities.
- Works closely with Revenue Management, Sales and Operations to maximize commercial performance.
Digital Marketing
- Oversees the hotel's digital marketing strategy, including website performance, SEO, SEM, email marketing, CRM, and social media.
- Monitors digital campaign performance using analytics and prepares recommendations for optimization.
- Develops digital content strategies that strengthen brand awareness and guest engagement.
- Ensures all digital platforms remain current, engaging and aligned with brand standards.
Public Relations
- Builds and maintains strong relationships with local, regional and international media.
- Develops and executes annual PR plans to support hotel positioning.
- Oversees media hosting, influencer collaborations and press events.
- Maintains all press materials including media kits, executive biographies and photography.
- Ensures consistent positive media coverage across key markets.
- Acts as the hotel's spokesperson when appointed by the General Manager, including during crisis communications.
Advertising & Campaign Management
- Develops annual advertising strategies and media plans.
- Oversees creative development for all marketing campaigns.
- Evaluates campaign ROI and recommends improvements.
- Ensures all advertising complies with GHM brand guidelines.
Content & Brand Collaterals
- Serves as the hotel's Brand Custodian.
- Oversees all hotel photography, videography and creative content.
- Ensures all printed and digital collateral meet luxury brand standards.
- Supports Sales, Events, Rooms, Food & Beverage, Spa and other departments with marketing materials.
Social Media & Content
- Develops and oversees the hotel's social media strategy.
- Ensures engaging, high-quality storytelling across all platforms.
- Monitors online reputation and guest sentiment.
- Oversees influencer partnerships and digital collaborations.
Partnerships & Community Engagement
- Develops strategic partnerships with luxury brands, tourism organizations and local businesses.
- Identifies sponsorship opportunities that enhance brand visibility.
- Supports CSR initiatives and community engagement programs.
- Promotes loyalty initiatives to strengthen guest retention.
Commercial Support
- Partners with Revenue Management and Sales to develop tactical promotions.
- Supports occupancy, ADR, RevPAR and F&B revenue objectives through targeted campaigns.
- Assists with new outlet launches, seasonal promotions and special events.
- Provides marketing support for business development initiatives.
Leadership & Team Management
- Leads, mentors and develops the Marketing team.
- Establishes departmental goals, KPIs and performance standards.
- Encourages creativity, collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Manages external agencies, photographers, designers and suppliers.
Budget & Financial Management
- Develops and manages the annual marketing budget.
- Ensures effective allocation of resources to maximize return on investment.
- Monitors marketing expenditures and campaign performance.
- Negotiates contracts with agencies and suppliers.
Employee Communications
- Supports Talent & Culture initiatives through internal communications.
- Promotes employee engagement campaigns and employer branding.
- Supports award submissions and external recognition initiatives.
Other Responsibilities
- Supports GHM regional and global marketing initiatives.
- Performs any additional duties assigned by the General Manager.
- Ensures compliance with all hotel policies and brand standards.
