Role Overview
Join our hospitality family as a Restaurant Manager, leading an exceptional team at The Chedi Hegra. As part of our team in this exquisite location, you'll work in an ONSITE environment, shaping outstanding guest experiences and maintaining the highest standards of service.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of the restaurant and bar, ensuring smooth service and guest satisfaction.
- Lead, train, and motivate staff to provide exemplary hospitality with attention to detail.
- Manage budgets, cost controls, and inventory, ensuring optimal resource use.
- Handle guest feedback, resolve complaints, and improve service levels continuously.
- Collaborate with culinary and service teams to create unforgettable dining experiences.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations at all times.
- Drive revenue through promotion of events, special menus, and upselling.
- Monitor key performance indicators and prepare regular operational reports.
Must have requirements
- Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager in a luxury or high-end hospitality setting.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to inspire a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Sound knowledge of food & beverage service and restaurant operations.
- Solid understanding of P&L, budgeting, and cost control principles.
- Attention to detail and a genuine passion for guest service excellence.
- Fluency in English; additional languages preferred.
- Ability to work in an onsite, fast-paced environment at The Chedi Hegra.
Nice to have requirements
- Degree or diploma in Hospitality Management or related field.
- Experience in launching and positioning new restaurant concepts.
- Knowledge of Arabic or additional foreign language skills.
- Previous international work experience in luxury hotels or resorts.
- Awareness of local culture and fine dining trends.
